Products and prices

Prepare your catalog for one-time sales, subscriptions and Payment Links.

Products describe what you sell. A product can have plans with different billing terms, and each plan contains prices by currency. Use these prices when creating Payment Links or catalog-based Cart Checkout.

Create a product and plan

Use the active account and environment in the dashboard. You need access to manage products.

  1. Open Collections → Products and select Create product.
  2. Enter the name and optional description and image. Save the product.
  3. Open the product and add a plan. Give the plan a name and select its type: one-time, subscription or free.
  4. For a paid plan, add a positive price and currency. Add another price when you need another currency; currencies cannot repeat within a plan.
  5. For a subscription, set the billing interval and optional trial period. Review the terms and save.

The product detail lists its plans and prices. Creating catalog records does not charge a customer or start a subscription. Select the appropriate price in an offer to make it purchasable.

Discounts and trials

A paid price can include a product discount expressed as a percentage. This discount is applied before automatic promotions and coupons. See Combine discounts before publishing an offer with several benefits.

A free plan has a zero price. A subscription trial delays the first paid cycle according to the configured plan; it does not turn a recurring plan into a one-time sale. Review the hosted checkout's initial and recurring amounts before sharing the link.

Edit, archive or delete

Open a product or plan's actions to edit its details. Prices already used in commercial records have restrictions: the form may lock the plan type or currency and prevent deleting used prices. To offer different terms, create another plan or price where the form permits it.

Archive a plan to stop offering it for new sales while retaining its history. Deleting an unused plan permanently removes it and its unused prices. Read the confirmation before deleting; removing catalog entries is not a cancellation of existing subscriptions.

Troubleshooting

  • No products yet: create a product, then a plan and price before creating a Payment Link.
  • A price cannot be saved: check paid amounts, duplicate currencies and the subscription interval.
  • A field or delete action is unavailable: the price may already be used. Create new terms instead of trying to change historical records.
  • A price is missing in an offer: check the plan's status and whether the selected currency is compatible with the other items.
